I got a letter in march of 2004 that said I owed Northland Group, Inc. $878.17 and that thier client was Palisades Collection...now I don't know what the hell is going on, b/c I have never opened any account that would match the account numbers on the letter and It frustrates me that this can happen so easily to people, should the government have some kind of protection for consumers against this ever even happening. I mean this is rediculous. I already have not so perfect credit and I'm trying to re-build it...this doesn't help any. :(
