Northwest Companies contracted my business to handle 24 hour snow and ice services at a local store they represented, during the 2012-2013 winter season. They paid for some of the completed work at the beginning of the season, but did not pay the end of the season for an outstanding balance of over $2,000. They did not provide an explanation and I contacted them several times, including e mails to top management. All contacts were ignored.

I saw your post in the RipOff report. I have a business that has taken a HUGE loss to Northwest's fraudulent business practices. I recently hired a lawyer and would suggest that you file a complaint with the North Carolina Department of Justice. Once they receive similar complaints from multiple people on NorthWest, the States Attorney General HAS to open a RICO case against this awful company. Within time, the state will levy an injunction stripping Northwest of everything they have. The form takes 5 min. Please fill it out for all of us that have fallen victim.

I checked with the NC Attorney General today and they have not received any other complaints besides mine. They will not do anything until they get more complaints to justify taking any action, which Northwest Companies obviously deserves. If you are a victim, please file a complaint with them and the Better Business Bureau.
