NYC FAME - Dwight Agnor ripoff NEVER RECEIVED REFUND AFTER TOLD IT WAS COMING New York New York

I was to attend a convention in Atlanta in fall 2002. I saw the information on the web. I t sounded very interesting to me so I submitted my application and sent my $180 and received my list of commercial scripts in the mail. Two or three weeks before the expo I received a letter letting me know that the expo in Atlanta had been postponed til the spring of 2003, April if I'm not mistaken. I had two options according to the letter, I could either wait and attend the expo in April which would now be more money, but since I had already sent out money that it would be cheaper for me if i decided to let them keep the money and put it towards the April expo. Or I could request a refund. I decided to take the refund. So I requested a refund by letter. I received a letter stating that my refund would be sent to me within 8-10 weeks, I wasn't too happy about that. So those weeks went by finally, I call in mid January 2003 to check on the refund, the secretary told me that I can't get my refund until the April expo had been done, just in case people that requested refunds would try to sneak into the expo. I told the lady that I wouldn't come anywhere near the expo unless I could get my money there. She kept telling me something about there was no money and they had to have the expo to be able to get me my money.

I Told her I needed to speak to who was in charge, she sent me to someone's voicemail I left a message in hopes to hear from someone. Never heard from the voice heard on the voicemail. I called back, by this time I am furious because it wasn't my fault that the company didn't have any money I should be able to get my refund like I was told in the 8-10 weeks by this time it had been more like 16 weeks. I started to call everyday, the secretary really hated me. But I felt that I should be able to get my money when I was told, I sent them there money by their deadline I expected the same. I never received my refund. In fact, after calling there everyday for 2 or 3 weeks I stopped calling in hopes that one day I would go to the mailbox and my refund would be there. When I did start back calling after a month there was a voicemail saying that the company had closed leave a message and someone would contact you about your refund. Boy did I leave messages!!!! IT'S BEEN THREE YEARS LATER!!! Still waiting. Mr Agnor, I'm sure $180 wouldn't hurt your POCKET$. Could you please send me my refund I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks
