To whom it may concern:

First and foremost, I would like to apologize to anybody who feels that a member of Oasis of Mercy should not stoop to the level of profligacy. However, as a meber of this organization, I feel it is my duty to debunk any false claims made against it. To begin with, Oasis of Mercy was never "burned in court." Yes, we went through legal litigation against our former president to decide who were the rightful stakeholders of the organization. In the end, the Los Angeles Superior Court ruled in favor of the members and the board of directors that represented the members. Let that be CLEAR. We altered our name as we felt that we needed to move forward with what transpired in our past. Anybody, who has been through a divorce, will understand. What we did not do is change our name to avoid compensating our financiers. Does the organization have financial problems? Yes. Even the greatest economy in the world, the United States is under-going economic issues; nevertheless, this does not mean we won't recompense our investors. We owe our existence to those who believe in us. This we will never forget.

To clarify, the Archdiocese of Los Angeles is NOT under us; rather, we will be under them. The fact that you made this claim let's me and anyone reading this post that, you Sir, don't know what you are talking about. You are clearly fabricating falsehood to misdirect the readers of this forum. How can a community of millions be under a community of hundreds? Pathetic attempt from your end. Also, Oasis of Mercy has always encouraged people to make their financial and physical contributions to their respective communities. Never have we claimed that salvation only rests whit us. We are merely another venue to help people make those crucial steps in changing their lives and direct them to the Catholic faith.

We are NOT a CHURCH! Again, by you insinuating that we claim to be a church, leads me to believe that you know absolutely nothing about us. We are a religious non-profit organization, which, if you would know anything about bussines, you would know that our organization is comprised of a president, board of directors and special committees, for instance, pastoral and financial as directed by the state of California. In regards to Mr. Ventura, Mr. Ventura was elected as president by the members of this organization. Mr. Ventura might not hold a Doctorate Degree from Harvard University but he has common sense, something you obviously lack. Moreover, Mr. Ventura does not drive a Bugatti, Rolls Royce, BMW, Mercedes-Benz nor a Maserati. He drives a Toyota Camry, a vehicle considered by many to be for grandmothers. Since when is a Toyota Camry considered a luxury car? Any hardworking grandmother, let alone a hardworking man can afford such vehicle. You assert that you were the victim of our organization, judging by your grammar, I would argue that you were the victim of your local school district but I digress to the next point.

The state of California mandates that all non-profit organizations must have a financial treasurer which, in our case, is Mr. Santa Cruz. The State also requires an INDEPENDENT AUDITOR to balance the organization's proceeds. Time and time again, Mr. Ventura like Mr. Santa Cruz have invited the members to look into the organization's earnings if they should have any concerns.

Given these points, it is clear that you have a personal vendetta against our organization. Why? I do not know. What I do know is that it's easy for anybody to spew false allegations. For example, I'll just call you John Michael for the sake of argument, I can claim that John Michael likes men but his parents don't know or that he practices witchcraft. In any case, I can attempt damage John's reputation but my argument false flat, just like your argument Mr. anonymous. If you have contigent evidence for what you are arguing, please, provide them. Do not cling on the "I heard or he said/she said" argument. The burden of proof rests with you, the accuser. 

It is worth mentioning that by remaining anonymous, you are afraid of standing for the truth. Cowards have a tendency to hide in the darkness. You will only get a reply from me if you provide your full name and present credible evidence to back-up your argument. In addition, stick to the points that I am rebutting for they are your allegations. Failing to do so will demonstrate to the people reading this post that you are deviating from the subjects you made and that I countered to. I really look forward in hearing from you.

I went to the event they had and that guy Elmer Ventura is an old guy who is trying to get your money. He is an ignorant man. I hate his stupid a** thuoght of process and all to are leading the minister. I know for a fact they are not going to last for so long.

Elmer Ventura is just want to take people money. He needs to step down from that organization. He thinks his smart wich his not he just want money. His very rude to people. His unresponsible on giving back the people money. His old. He just want from him self and want to take creadit of what others had made in the organization. His a show off.
