The following events happened after I received an internet order from Oconee Offroad that they agreed to exchange for a similar product.

1. On the exchange of a Skid Row gas tank skid plate for a Warn skid plate, the person I spoke with was not specific on the return address, saying 'send it to the address on the invoice' which was Oconee Offroad's owner's home address.

2. I ordered the Warn skid plates the same day I shipped the Skid Row skid plate back to Oconee Offroad (10-15-09). When I didn't receive the Warn skid plate a week later I called and asked the same person I had been dealing with for the tracking number. She said she didn't have it but would call me later that day with the tracking number. She didn't call. The next day I called her and she said she didn't have a tracking number and that I should get the skid plate by Friday. After learning from her that the skid plate was to be shipped directly from Warn, I called Warn and learned that they had just received the order. This was a week after my credit card was charged by Oconee Offroad.

3. The owner of Oconee Offroad received the Skid Row skid plate at his home address on 9-21-09 (Why was his HOME address on the invoice?) and the box got wet. The same woman I had been dealing with told me they were trying to get UPS to pay for the damaged box and couldn't refund me until settlement with UPS and receiving credit from the vendor. I told her this whole situation was her fault and I should not be held responsible for her mistakes. I asked her to have the owner of Oconee Offroad call me. He did not call.

4. On October 2nd Oconee Offroad charged me $66.73 off of the $266.93 I should have been credited for the returned Skid Row skid plate leaving me with a credit of only $200.20. I left a message with a fellow employee of this woman for her to call me and she didn't call me back.

5. My business friends tell me that freight charges cost far less for businesses than for individuals. I was charged $66.73 for shipping, $18.01 more than it cost me (an individual) to return the skid plate to Oconee Offroad. I should not have been charged freight for that employee's many mistakes and unprofessional behavior.
