Landmark Chevrolet Used Cars in Houston, Texas sent a certificate for a prize which ranged from a $100 bill, 42" TV, a laptop and a $1000 certificate for online purchases. The catch is that even though I have a $1000 certificate, I still have to pay shipping and handling. The shipping and handling is exhorbitant and the manufacturers suggested retail price listed on the website is much higher than the items can actually be bought for.
For example, Panasonic DVD Recorder DMR-ES20 according to the website, the SRP is $299.99. I looked online and was unable to find this item new. The refurbished price is $96.00 at refurb.com. The factory reconditioned price at Official Shopzone is $101.99.
