Needless to say, Okie Corp-Prime Peripherals has been and continues to be a scam. I bought a 50x CD ROM Drive from CompUSA in Feb 2001. Completed the rebate form & to-date have not received the $30 rebate.

To make matters worse the CD ROM drive has now stopped working properly. For some reason it will no longer reads the disks. The unit starts to spin and then just stops.

The CD ROM Drive is still covered under its 1 year warranty, but I have been unable to get in touch with the company to get it repaired or replaced.

Their phone numbers have been disconnected and their website no longer exists. Any suggestions on how to handle the situation are welcome.
