Olive & Company Pet Spa and Retreat - Our dog was badly injured Concerned former long-termed client! Brookshire Texas

I have been a loyal client of Lauren’s Grooming Katy, now Olive & Company Pet Spa, for two years because I was very satisfied with my previous groomer. My experience changed drastically during my latest visit. I brought my dog in for her regular grooming appointment in perfect health.

When I picked her up, I immediately noticed she was having difficulty walking. After rushing her to the emergency vet, we learned she had an injury similar to a torn ACL. The resulting veterinary bills came to nearly $723.

When I called Olive & Company Pet Spa to seek an explanation, the owner, Lauren Green (the only person present when I picked up my dog), was uncooperative and belligerent. Not only did she refuse to offer any explanation of what happened, but she also charged me a late fee for arriving 30 minutes after my scheduled pickup — which I paid without complaint.

The most distressing part was that when I raised my concerns, the owner threatened me for considering posting a negative review, rather than showing any concern for my dog’s well-being.

I am sharing this experience to caution other pet owners. I still do not know exactly what happened to my pet during her time at Olive & Company Pet Spa, but I believe it is important for the public to be aware of my experience.

Lauren Green has claimed to have opened a "spa retreat" for dogs. Having visited four times, I can confirm that the facility is more of a basic, cold, warehouse-style shop and does not resemble the comforts of upscale dog spas found in Houston and the surrounding area.
