Omega chess, operating under OMEGA CHESS INTL. INC. This is a good definition of a bait and switch on terms and conditions. ALEXANDER DAMIAN called WebsiteQ on 7/10/07 and wanted us to do some work on his website. Alex sent over the change he needed done (which WebsiteQ completed) He agreed to pay half of the services up front and the balence when completed. We received the first payment but not the second. He claims the project was not done on time and wanted the second part done for free or give him the FULL 25 HOURS of maintenance in hours so he could get what he wants. We spent 12 hours of work with a remaining 13 hours left.

WebsiteQ would have done the 2nd project with no problem but he failed to make the second payment on deadline. When we called him for the second payment he refused to pay and argued. We did not do the 2nd project because the work he paid for up front was complete. Noone in the industry would do work for free. Be careful working with this company on any design projects. Alex then proceeding to call his credit card company and charge back the full amount of money for work that we DID !!!! This says it all. All information can be provided as this is true and on paper. Just to show how clueless these people are and how they contradict themselves. This was also my experience with them on a daily basis unfortunately...

Note how the first sentence says: "We spent 12 hours of work with a remaining 13 hours left".

The second to last sentence he says: "We did not do the 2nd project because the work he paid for up front was complete".

Complete?? what about the 13 hrs left? Helloooo? I paid for 25 hrs! And they also don't mention anywhere what exactly they actually completed...which was not even up to spec of what I initially asked. Yes, also on paper and on email with a written commitment date from WEBSITEQ!

WEBSITEQ's staff did not even have the decency to sign with their names on this report! That would probably ruin their future scams...

Before I continue with my own rebuttal, I want to point out that WEBSITEQ operating under (GALACY - with 10 reports filed against them) also operating under (INTEGRETEL - with 497 reports filed against them) also operating under (WEBXITES - with 10 reports filed against them). Any reader is free to read up on these reports and realize the unethical and unscrupulous manner in which this company does business. They pray on people constantly and never admit their own faults.

What WEBSITEQ conveniently fails to mention is that I did NOT ask for the 2nd project for free. All I asked was to use my remaining 13 hrs (from the 1st project) on a different design, money which was already paid in advance by me on good faith and now sitting in their greedy pockets. They refused to do it by yelling at me and being discourteous and rude. Basically I paid in advance for 25 hrs, got 12 hrs of unwanted work which they delivered 3 weeks late (what I initially wanted I had to finish on my own), and now they wanted me to pay another 550$! Sure...anytime pal!

Also, another thing they conveniently left out is that the "2nd payment" they are talking about was for the hosting and does NOT have anything to do with the design part (1st payment of 550$ which I paid ahead of time and only got half my money's worth - i.e. 12 hrs!!). So when they say that I failed to make the second payment it really means I refused to simply because they had not even fully delivered on my first payment...much less reimburse me for the remaining hours which I had asked nicely. Why would anyone make a second payment when they have 13 hrs left of work on the first payment? - it's a no brainer!

This just proves that whoever wrote this rebuttal at WebsiteQ either has no clue what my project was about or they simply lie.

If this company had any shred of decency and honesty, they would have reimbursed me for my unused hours and called it quits, instead of trying to twist your arm for a measly 240$ which they stole basically. This is the epitome of cheapness.

A final word of warning to all readers: DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. THE QUALITY OF WORK AND SERVICE IS SO BELOW MARKET STANDARD THAT YOU'D BETTER OFF GET SOME CODER IN INDIA TO OUTSOURCE IT. AND WITH SO MANY PROFESSIONAL WEB DESIGN COMPANIES TO CHOSE FROM...WHY EVEN BOTHER?
