I'll resond to this false "complaint" point by point:

False Claim: "OMP Steals Girls Identities to make profiles"

Truth: OMP has over 200,000 active members, ranging from begining models and photographers to media stars who use OMP because it is the oldest and most professional of the modeling sites - we have no need to create "fake" model portfolios - in fact we remove more fraudulant and unused model and photographer portfolios every month than many other modeling sites have active on their entire sites.

False Claim:"theyve had to change there name like 3 times due to prior lawsuits"

Truth: OneModelPlace was founded as Folios.com in 1996, which was free modeling forum site. In 2000, we changed the name and relaunched in an major expansion as OneModelPlace.com; Not only did we not hide the fact of the name change, we went to great lengths to advertise it!

Additional Truth: There have been no lawsuits against OneModelPlace. OMP has had been successfully involved in lawsuits Against other companies and individuals, both for protection of our copyrighted trademarked materials and in assisting law enforcement in prosecuting fraudulant/dangerous persons who have attempted to use the site. But no actions have ever even remotely come close to this claim.

False Claim:"I joined there site, next thing i knew they were using my headshot to adverrise there site without my permission"

Truth:OMP does very little external advertising; and when we do, we create or license images specifically for that ad campaign.

While Some images uploaded by members are used internally on certain sections of the website (like on the search page, newly updated members, etc), this use is fully outlined in our User Agreement, and whenever an image is used in this manner, the member is credited, and the image linked to their OMP Portfolio - so the user is actually getting additional exposure on the site for free.

Truth: OMP does not sell, give or lend ANY images to publications of any type - its not part of our business, we are a portfolio hosting site.

Truth:OMP has a STRICT POLICY (as can be seen in our User Agreement at http://www.onemodelplace.com/terms_and_conditions.cfm (Item #10)) against ANYONE using our site for the puropses of Escorts, Prostitution, etc.

We remove ANY profile from the site that has anything to do with escort services.

False Claim:"...discovered tons of other complaints and victims of this nasty site"

Truth:OneModelPlace is a business like any other, and of course we have had some consumer issues that we have ALWAYS attempted to correct of help in an open and constructive manner.

We have responded satisfactorily to every complaint ever issued to the Better Business Bureau (there have been under 10 such compaints in 12 years of our operation), and we have a customer service staff devoted to not only helping members with their site-issues, but actively help by giving expert advice to members on a daily basis.

Clearly these false accusations have no basis. We stand behind our name and good reputation. There is a reason that we are the most established and largest of all the modeling sites, because we repect our members and act like a professional, repsonsible business.

Our email and phones are always available for ANY complaint or query regarding OneModelPlace, our rules and practices.

It is unfortunate to see people using RipOff Report for this type of nonsense.
