I worked for Ontario Energy Savings and did not last long...The lies that they tell to get poor unsuspecting people to sign up just made me sick and couldnt sleep at night. DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS PROGRAM..DO NOT SIGN FROM ANYONE..THEY ARE THERE TO MAKE 90.00 FOR EVERY GAS THEY SIGN UP AND 60.00 FOR HYDRO. IF YOU GO GREEN THEY MAKE MORE..YOUR BILLS WILL GO UP AND THEY CAN WALK AWAY MAKING OVER 250.00 FOR JUST YOUR SIGNATURES...IF THEY COME T O YOUR DOOR, SLAM IT SHUT.

I have been paying almost double for hydro for almost 2 years. I was a new home owner and believed what this guy, working for Ontario Energy Savings Group, said. I was told I will save money in the long run but my local hydro company has stayed around 5 cents per KWH for the last two years. I was even showed a graph showing me how much hydro prices have gone up over the years. I should have educated myself first but when they say you'll be paying 9.65 cents per KWH, 4 cents extra seems like nothing, but it is. I use to pay $135 every two months and now I pay $200 and i've cut down on my hydro use. They come by my house about every 3 months asking to see my hydro or gas bill, hoping they can make commision off me if I haven't signed up already. I now tell them I throw my bills out and they never seem happy about that.

I don't know how someone can do this kind of job knowing they are ripping people off. Actually a friend of mine has a friend who goes door to door selling gas and he makes $150 000 a year. I guess money talks.
