I contracted with this company to distribute my door hangers. You must pay up front and pay for a set amount of door hangers (ie $0.15/ door hanger). The company promises to send you GPS tracking links via email in order for you to track in real time the work. This sounds great with all the safe guards put in place for your protection, but you must take one step further on your own in order to protect yourself from being defrauded.

What you must realize is that you are signing a "non-refundable" contract. Regardless of whether they complete the work or not, whether the contract is voided under law, they WILL NOT, under any circumstances give you your money back, unless you try to take them to court. This is what is happening to me. During my campaign, they provided me the tracking links, but they didn't really expect me to go to the site and check the actual work.

When I went to the locations as indicated on the tracking link, I noticed that many of the homes were skipped or some of the areas were totally empty. It seemed as if they were just randomly placing door hangers out or not placing them at all, walking around where they needed to go in order to have it recorded on the GPS. After about a month of dispute and complaining to the corporate office, the representative, Robert Schwartz, refuses to return any calls or emails.

After about 2 months, I finally am able to get in touch with Robert by calling with a different phone number, and he informs me that he will send me a link of the new GPS that day. He promises that the work will be completed. Well, I went to the area at the end of the day and we still have the same problems. Upon driving around, I noticed that many of the homes were still being skipped and I certainly do not want to be paying for work that is not being completed. When I walked up to one of the homes, I also noticed that the door hangers are for another company. This was when I realized that they were doing work for another company and not mine.

I complained to the corporate offices and told them that Robert tried to defraud me by making me think that the work was completed but he was actually distributing door hangers for ANOTHER company and claiming that it was mine. After several emails, the company director, Mel Jacob, informs me that they have completed the work. He tells me that the reason why I did not see my door hangers was because I signed a contract that allows the company to distribute the door hangers whenever, wherever, and with whichever company they choose. I told Mel that I signed a contract for an EXCLUSIVE campaign, one that is to be distributed during a time I stipulated in the contract, in the location that I choose, and must be exclusive (meaning my door hangers are to be distributed in that location ONLY). I told him that the contract states this in black ink and clearly states EXCLUSIVE campaign. He tells me that this is implied and that they do not need to tell me this or put it in the contract. At this time, it was clear that the company was just making up B.S. and telling me anything to get me off their backs.

Next, I complained to my credit card company. Unfortunately, my credit card company will not refund me the charges. They said that cannot because I signed a "non-refundable" contract. They said that "we are not a legal court of law and cannot determine whether the contract was voided due to a breech in contract. We just know that it says non-refundable. Therefore, we cannot assist you further. However, your next option would be to take them to court."

I was out $375 (cost of the labor) plus $275 (cost of my door hangers), for a total of $650.
