I purchased a Fila Brasileiro from Shawn and Katrina Waldrip of Outrageous Shadow Filas and was completely misled. They lied to me about the age, health and pedigree of the dog. They led me to believe the dog was only 10 weeks and my vet verified that the age was 14 - 16 weeks. The dog had tape worms and ring worms and has a heart murmur. They also led me to believe this dog came from a cafib background and it does not. I asked to be compensated for my vet bills and was told to contact an attorney because they would no longer be answering my emails or calls. Very bad people who are breeding terrible dogs.

There is no way that the original report is accurate. I have 2 Filas from Outrageous Shadow Filas. One of them is almost two & the other is only six months old. Both of them have been vet checked & niether of them have any health problems. I would love to see the dog that this person claims to have. To the person that filed this hoax: please contact me, I want to see this dog. To everyone else, I would be happy to let you come out to my place & see the two Filas that I purchased from this breeder. They are in excellent shape & both of them are wonderful dogs! All the same, go to this breeders home & look at her dogs once you have seen them you will know that report was invalid. If you are looking to purchase a Fila, this breeder has wonderful Filas, I recommend that you check them out!

This sounds like a typical attempt at bashing a good and ethical breeder. I would ask the original complainant, to tell us which breeding the puppy is from? I would also recommend to anyone considering a Fila, to contact this breeder personally and gain your information in that way rather than reading an obvious attempt at slander from an anonymous poster.
