About 5 years ago, I had an AT&T cell phone account. I had the account for one year. At the end of the contract, AT&T started charging me by the minute rather than by the contract amount. Needless to say, the bill for one month was $593.81. It went to collection, I paid a settled amount of 475.05 in two installments. Case closed, so I thought, until October, 2007 when I recevied a collection notice with the bill for $118.76 for the same account.
