*UPDATE EX-employee responds: Geez, It's only a magazine!
I purchased a magazine subscription from two young men on January 25, 2005 represetning PMI. I purchased the Photography magazine of 24 issues for $34.00. I was given a reciept (4197585). My check cleared ther bank on February 3, 2005. I have yet to receive these magazines.
I have filed a complaint with the Attorney General's office of Alabama and Florida. I have also filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau of Florida. My next step is to contact the local authorities.
What can we do to stop them?

Bob Bonds crew? I know you must b a realllly old head also seeing he was my first car handler & our crews traveled together for years.(joined crew in 81 & was there 20+ years.) I would love to catch up on some things/people, there are not alot of us left that know how things really were. Alot of drama it seems now. I might be a couple years late from your post, but maybe you will see this.

I realize that youre not too happy because your magazine hasnt arrived yet, but dont panic. I worked with Mr. Pitts crew and I worked with Mr. Cecils crew, I started years ago on Bob Bonds crew. I traveled for a year...quit...and returned a year later. One of the most fun and exciting jobs I have ever had. I saw the whole country and all I had to do was sell a couple of magazines..(thats about all I sold too..lol)But one thing I do know is that people really do get their magazines. I know this through experience...selling someone a magazine one year and renewing that subscription with them again the very next year. They dont arrive overnight or right away sometimes it takes up to six months for your first issue to arrive and we as agents were trained to tell our customers that. There isnt any reason to notify your congressman or the local authorities. Heck, nobody wants the magazines to begin with. That agent or "kid" as ive seen it put here often stood at your door and entertained you for twenty or more minutes, probably made you laugh and had a "yes" for everytime you said "no" thats worth the 25-35 dollars alone. I buy magazines every year from some agent at my door for the last 8-9 years and havent been ripped ever. Alan Ripley
