I purchased a loaf of bread at panera bread co in brooksville at a price of 6.69. The girl charged me 6.50 percent tax. It was like .44 cents.I told her there was no tax on food to go. She said it was programed in the register and there was nothing she could do.I went back a week lateer and talked to the manager and he told me he would bring it to the attention of the corporate office. I asked him if he's been charging people all athis on their loves of bread and he said yes. thats an enormus amount of illegal tax collection on the consumers.He didn't even offeer to refund mu overpayment back.
