Positive Experience with Paschall Services

AUTHOR: Jim - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, April 11, 2006

I started out with Paschall Services in 2003 with one truck. I have since then worked my way up to having 75 trucks with this company. I owe all my success to Paschall Services; they helped me get on my feet in this industry and are keeping me running.

I do not believe if you are a company who is already in financial trouble that this or any other company can pull you out of the hole you have created for yourself. In my opinion after reading many of these reports, it seems that these were companies on their last leg looking for some easy money.

This industry is one that requires great book keeping and good math skills. You can not over pay your drivers and expect to make money through any avenue.

I do not see anything fraudulent in the services that Paschall Services provides and will continue to watch my business grow with them.

hello, joe, i am like you about this company some one should look into it, my husband drove for youngblood truck lines ,inc, out of flecther nc. till oct-2003 seller , paschall truck line was the buyer,,,, he was told by Y.T.L that paschall truck line would pay him what he was making with y.t.l and that, we would have full med-ins ,,NOT, he try it what a mess ,the miles he got were few and he was driveing as a team,,most of the time when him and the other driver got to get home they would have to drop the trailer , in charlotte , and drive in home to flecther,nc. NO-PAY-MILES -U-SEE 1 1/2hrs wow , not what he was told ,less money , and they did not pay any med-bills , but did take out ins-money ,, it,s bad enough what Y.T.L . had done to all the employees about the med-ins, and all the other things just ask me, the last time i talk with one of the old Y.T,L drivers he says a few of them is all that stay with paschall,, because of the pay , no-miles,no-money, but one thing about it y.t.l screw the drivers, paschall, try it but they were not fools so wake up,, drivers ,, befor you go to work for any trucking company check them out see how many names they have and who they are in with,,,check-out-mergers-check all states ,, wow WHAT -YOU -FIND -OUT -MAY -SAVE -U , AND MAKE SURE U KEPT ALL PAY STUB,, U may need them ,,lol,, we-did,,

DON'T BELIEVE THEY HAVE IMPROVED

AUTHOR: Joe - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, April 26, 2005

I am also a victim of the Paschall Services scam. This organization hypes itself initally to "provide continous freight for your power unit and the miles you need in order to be a profitable business." During our recruiting process we were told that they paid 10-14 days from time they received shipment paperwork, dispatch 24 hrs /7 days a week, and coud easily provide us with 2800-3200 miles we felt we needed to keep our business profitable.
Fact of the matter is that night and weekend dispatch is incompetent or understaffed as our units continuously had issues trying to get loads after normal business hours, communicating with they're inflated qualcom system (which you pay generously for)and no compensation for the endless layovers as you wait 18-36 hours for next load. Daytime dispatch seemed compentent however overstaffed and had more capacity than tonnage.
Accounting practices for this organization are a nightmare and possibly fraudlent (as I am currently reasearching legal avenues), section is extremely understaffed, continously misleads you as to amounts of settlement and the dates sent.
Between theese shady business practices and the rise in fuel and insurance rates our organization has closed. PTL's contract was our last effort to salvage our fleet as was explained to our recruiter who assured us that they could help us sustain. Upon PTL's notice of terminating our contract due to lack of operating capital (while they were sitting on over $10,000 in hauling revenue due to us) we sent all Qualcom units back to them, deadheaded (3) times to their facility to drop trailers accepting all costs involved to peacefully get out of the contract. Three weeks after they receive all of their equipment we receive check with over $7,000 in early termination, qualcom and other fradulent charges.
There may be driver out on the road that enjoy their experience working for this ocmpany, HOWEVER I AM SEARCHING FOR THE ENDLESS AMOUNT OF PEOPLE WHO SEEM TO HAVE EXPERIENCED THE SAME PROBLEMS. LET'S BAND TOGETHER TO PREVENT OTHERS FROM SUSTAINING THE SAME NIGHTMARE. OUR INDUSTRY IS TOUGH ENOUGH LATELY TO NOT HAVE TO BE SCAMMED!!

WONDERFULL SMALL TOWN COMPANY

AUTHOR: Donald - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, April 14, 2004

My wife has worked for Paschall Services for nearly four years now. I myself has recently been employed there, and I must set the record straight.

For the past five or so years Paschall Services Inc.(sister company to Paschall Truck Lines). Has grown in size, but still maintaned its strive to give personal attention to the carriers and truckes that it keeps running year round. I am very proud to be an employee therer, and owe a great deal to this company.

I do have sympothy for anyone that has not been able to grow with us, but that does not mean that PSI did not want to work with them, or that we tried to suck them dry of there money and leave them out to dry. We have many large companies and small carries that are happy with our service, and I challenge all the doubt this to ask them what they think of our outstanding company.

There are always two sides to every story, dont believe the negitive all the time, and god bless the american truck driver..THE BACK BONE OF AMERICA!
