I hired Passage Auto Transport to ship my 2015 Hyundai Genesis from Newton Center, Massachusetts to Lake Worth, Florida.  I could not drive because I was just recently diagnosed with a serious cancer.

Todd at Pasage Auto Transport said my automobile would be picked up on a Monday or Tuesday at the latest.  he even said ti might be picked up the Saturday or Sunday before.  When Monday came, I called and asked for the pickup time.  He said he could not find a driver and that it would be Tuesday.  I called again on Tuesday and asked for the pickup time.  He said he could not find a driver.

I asked when it would be picked up as I flew out of Mass. on Monday and needed my car in FL to go to treatments.  he said he had no idea when it would be picked up or delivered.  I told him he told me it would be on a Monday or Tuesday.  He became extremely rude and argumentative and hung up.  I called another company to arrange for the transport.  The second company called Passage and asked if they cancelled (as per my request).  He was even ruder to the caller and was sweaing and name calling. 

I called my credit card company and put a hold on the deposit and disputed the transaction.  I was suppsoed to hear from customer service about the cancellation and getting my money back.  I always get an answering machine and they never return calls.  I have since learned they have only been in business nine months and drivers don't want to drive for them.

I did not book with any other company except Passage Auto Transport.  When after four days of promises you still couldn't find a driver, that's when I called another company who found me a driver within an hour.  Also I called your customer service department a couple of times to get my deposit refunded and they never returned my calls.  I listened in when my new company called you to release the booking and you were very rude, used foul language, and refused to cooperate.

Passage Auto Transport would like to start by saying we are sorry to hear about you condition and that we truly hope you get well soon! 

As far as the complaint we have looked back on this matter and as all our phone calls are recorded for customer training purposes and there was absolutely NO inappropriate laungauge or behavior recorded as the customer stated. We do apologize that we were not able to assist you in moving your vehicle. We ask all of our customers as do all the other Auto Transport Brokers not to sign up with other Auto Transport Companies as this makes it extremley difficult to do our job. Since you "double booked" with many other transport companies it made it almost impossible to find you a driver. As for a refund for the deposit all you need to do is call our Customer Service number that is on the contract and request a refund or email info@passageautotransport.com. All the information is listed on your contract. Our records show that you did not contact our Customer Service Dept. at all.
