PATTI BOWLES/FROG FRENCHIE FUN PATTIE BOWLES SOLD ME A SICK DOG MEDICINE HAT, Alberta

This is to warn anyone looking to purchase a French Bulldog. I bought a french bulldog from Frog Frenchie Fun owned by Patti Bowles in December of 2011. When I picked up my puppy, he was very dirty and smelled bad. His ears were caked with black dirt and he had a very runny nose. She told me his nose was running because of the cold weather. I took him to my vet that week to find out he had a bad cold which required medication that I had to pay for right off the bat. He also told me he thought the puppys ears had never been cleaned before.  At the age of 8 months he was diagnosed with a genetic abnormality of the spine call Hemavertabre and the surgury to fix him would cost $7,000.00  I sent the x-rays to her vet who agreed to the genetic disorder. She was scheduled to come to my house to pick him up but she was a no show and did not call. She called me 2 days later and  advised me to have him put down at my own expense and she would replace him once she recieved the death certificate. I informed her of a French Bulldog Rescue network that would take the puppy , give him the medical care he needed and place him in a new home after being rehabilitated. This is the point when she became very angry and started sending me rude and aggressive emails. She told me she would not give me a new puppy unless I had him put down, even though I had proven his genetic abnomality which was part of her garrantee. It is obvious she does not care about the dogs she breeds or she would have wanted him to have a fighting chance which is what my family decided.  The surgery was sucessful and he is currently looking for a new home. Patti threatned to sue me if reported her to the kennel clubs she is a memnber of. Now you have been warned. Thank you
