I call a number of current and former clients each week, because I care. I call these "Give a s**t Calls" or GAS calls. I'm not going to go into the content of the conversation with this particular fellow, because that is confidential. However, I will say that on the particular phone conversations with him (the ones he is referring to), I never asked for money and did not call him with the intent of getting a payment. I also did not know he was on vacation.

A month earlier, he had agreed to pay me a relatively small amount up front for doing some legal work. He never completed that payment. He also did not respond to my multiple requests for additional information ove rthe course of weeks. After over a month, I called to see how he was doing. (When people don't respond to me, it is often because they have difficulties in their personal life.) He got angry, and demanded that I refund the money he paid me for work performed. And then he filed this report. 

I wish this person all the best. I never intended to make him angry. Being a lawyer is a challenging way to make money. But I like it because I'm able to help people through difficult situations. I'm sorry that there was apparently a communication problem with this person.
