Paul E. Straub Jr. and Amy L. Straub BEWARE Renting a Property From These 2 Slumlords!!! Middleburg Pennsylvania

Beware renting a property from this couple Paul and Amy Straub from Middleburg Pa. They will rent you a property with many issues and when confronted about any issue they either will look for any excuse under the book to not fix it or they will do a sloppy job fixing it themselves to save money and then more times then not the problems will continue to reoccur many times over like they did with me throughout my 1 year lease!

On top of being Slumlords they are extremely rude and will accuse you of causing whatever problem you are asking them to fix in order to make the house livable. Throughout my 1 year lease I have had to contact these slumlords many times for many problems with my rental property through them like the downstairs toilet backing up and flooding the entire bathroom along with leaking to the basement, the water heater constantly leaking, the shower leaking on many occasions and also breaking once and then they want to charge you extra for excess water use when there are all these leaks. 

Then they want to accuse you of using to much water in the property so you have to pay extra when it is due to all the leaks and even though they supposedly have the water included in the rent price.

The insulation throughout the entire house is also a HUGE problem as it is completely either non existent or falling apart to the point where my electric bill is nearly 3 times what I have paid for electric anywhere else i have ever lived at.

The heating doesn't work properly and they say "well it's an old house i'm sorry" even though this is pennsylvania where it gets really cold in the winter and I have 4 kids which they do not seem to care about.

Paul came to my house 2 days ago and told me we have to find a new place because he is tired of having to deal with these issues, he said his previous tenants would just deal with the problems which is completely messed up because part of being a landlord is fixing these problems when they arrise.
