Back in October 2010, I took out a payday loan.  This was not the first time that I had used this particular company.  There was four payments set up to be debited from my checking account starting on 10-29-10, 11-12-10,11-26-10 and the last one was for 12-10-10.  According to my records all payments were received.  In January, I called to try to receive another loan and was told that my payments for 10-29 & 11-12 were never received.  I spoke to my bank and was informed that those 2 payments were debited out of my account by their company Fast Cash and the last 2 payments went to PayDayLoanYes.

I have been dealing with a Mr. Hatton in the company and explained the situation to him.  I even faxed him a copy of my bank statement in January and nothing was ever done about it.  On, January 25, 2011, I faxed a copy to Mr. Hatton superviosor Tim Atkins, and nothing was still done about it.  I have refaxed this information to Mr. Hatton in March and April.  Once I didn't hear anything else I thought the issue was resolved.  Now, I have a law firm telling me that my paperwork is over there and if I don't set up payment, they are going to start the process to garnisher my job.  I explained this to Mr. Hatton again the early part of July and each time he is tells me he will call me back and never does.

On, July 27, 2011 I faxed Mr. Hatton the same copies again, because he says he's unable to get a hold of the ones the I faxed previously.  Nothing is being done about this and I don't see why I should have to repay and my bank statements shows where the money went.  It would not have gotten this far if Mr. Hatton would have taken care of the matter in January when I first sent the bank statement.

Thanking you in advance for any help or advice you may be able to give me.

You may be getting scammed

Watch out who you fax your bank account info to. Although you may have taken out a payday loan and actually satisfied the debt there is a company that has hacked into the online loan systems and has stolen account info in an attempt to get more money from people.

You should consider contacting the original lender to verify this. You should also consider filing a police report and closing your bank account.
