The initial rip off was set up Virgil Elson, DeKalb office who transacted purported direct investment in communications networking titled Paytel Captel.

The $18,500 invested by James Sanderson for one, received about six months of interest returns and then the company neatly folded and left investors holding worthless paper.

Legal proceedings for recovery are in process, however, the judge has granted three extensions to the defense and the light at tunnel's end is dimming.
