PE LABS/Pure Energy Products Diet pill email scam. DO NOT HIT "SUBMIT" BUTTON Oklahoma City Oklahoma

My wife had come home this week from the store saying her account was overdrawn. After checking our account online, she had found she had been charged $149.95 for a bottle of diet pills she DIDN'T order. It was then we started looking more closely at the email she received promoting a free trial bottle of diet pills for only $4.95 to pay for shipping.

After a while of closely scanning the email for anything indicating the required purchase of more pills, we found some small print saying "by submitting you agree to our terms and conditions". These terms and condidtions are not readily available. You have to hunt for them. Once we FOUND the terms and conditions, our blood began to boil. No one could be contacted by phone, at least a real person. Only an answering machine telling you to leave a message.

If the terms and conditions were given to my wife before ordering the free trial, she would have NEVER, NEVER, ordered from these thieves. Any other ordering form on any website I've ever ordered from REQUIRES you to check a box saying you have read and understand thier "terms and conditions"

By the way, if you ever get to the terms and conditions, you will find that it says "All sales are final". It also says that if you return to sender or cancel your credit card before they get thier money, they will file a claim with a collections company(probably thier own).

It gets pretty nasty and deceitful if you ask me. These terms and conditions are VERY intimidating. All the more reason for them to hide them within the email. For the record, the terms and conditons were not in the email; only the message saying that if you submit an order for thier free trial you agree to thier terms and conditions.

These #$%@# people need to be stopped. Why is there not a class action lawsuit aganst this so-called "company". $149.95 may not be much for some people, but, my family can really use that money back.

By the way, by the time you find out that your account has been charged for this fraudulent scam, it's too late to cancel or receive a refund....once again, hidden within thier HIDDEN terms and conditions.

Somebody please do something!!!

If the charge was to your credit card (not debit card, check card, or checking account), contact the credit card company as soon as possible to request a dispute form. Consumers usually have a little longer to dispute fraudulent credit card charges (up to 6 months), but it is better to act right away. In this type of situation, credit card disputes are usually successful since fraudulent companies often won't contest the disputed charge. In rare cases, credit card companies will review disputes, but refuse to reverse the charges. If this occurs, complain to a manager and let them know you will be filing a report here.

Remember Don't let them get away with it! Make sure they make the Rip-off Report .. The more Reports filed on a Company or individual, the more likely it is that the authorities, media and attorneys will want to take action.
