People Search Media Archives, Despite this grossly-deceptive company's desplay of reputable TRUSTe & Verisign-Secured & BBB logos, they misleadingly sell Premium annual service for $29.95 vs one-time $9.95 Tracer Report; but Premi Omaha, Nebraska

Phone Detective is one of several entities (listed in subject) that is a very deceptive internet-search company named "People Search Media".  Their PLOY is to deceive new members into paying $29.95 for Premium annual free people/phone searches, with ONLY ONE free "Tracer Report" - which is the main deception that they do not fully disclose; while an option exists to buy a single Tracer Report for $9.95 (which is DOUBLE the cost of other similar websites), but their site leads you to believe you can get multiple free reports by paying $29.95.  ONLY AFTER you sign on and try to do the multiple free searches with reports do you realize that they charge you $9.95 for all subsequent reports, when you could have bought their single report for $9.95 in the first place! 

They claim FALSE Non-Existent benefits to their "Premium" annual membership, which is absolutely FREE at their and all other similar phone/people search websites - thus their major SCAM and FRAUD.  Furthermore, their Tracer Report was completely WRONG for the phone number searched, as I verified by calling the phone number and speaking with the owner; and their guarantee to refund inaccurate information has NOT been honored.  AVOID this company and ALL affiliates!  The BBB for the Omaha area reportedly stopped processing complaints on this business, and now has them as an "Accredited Member" in California - so much for the BBB's credibility, as they apparently will accredit anyone who pays them fees.  Per BBB their address is Omaha but apparently run from Palo Alto, CA, & incorporated 2006 in NV as an internet and geanealogy services business; Ms Michelle Steinbeck is listed as Director of Member Services with email at upport@genealogyarchives.com.
