They mail out a letter stating you will be fined up to $17,000 if you are not in compliance with the US Federal Labor Laws. Indicating you need to buy their product to avoid being the target of hefty fines from the US Government.

Product is cheap enough where you may think of just paying to avoid any problems from the every watching eye of the US gov.

Misleading and dishonest company.

Watch out.

Personnel Concepts claim to copyright is probably false

AUTHOR: R.J. - (USA)

POSTED: Sunday, January 29, 2017

"Comment Numer 2" apparently is from a representative of the Personnel Concepts - PCI Compliance Service Department, or AIO Acquisition Inc. In it, they write: "Space Saver All-On-One posters are copyrighted material. Notices are available free from the government."

This is probably a bogus claim. These are employment law compliance posters, as they say, available free from the US Govt. By definition, the company product can't copyright freely available public "prior art."  By definition, these are statements to be in compliance with labor law, and are issued by the US Governemnt prior to PCI haveing any ability to claim a copyright.  If they want to shrink the font and print double-sided and call you when the law changes, and charge for that, fine, but they cannot lay claim to copyright.

I received one of these "update notices" marked all official looking like a State of Kansas official notice (no state seal, though). Don't let it fool you. Although the "employee" of PCI says they make it clear they are a promotion, the wording they claim to provied is not as stated on this website. Only on the "throw-away" cover of the notice, on the back of the "update notice," in faded gray print, did I find a statement that these publications are available free of charge from the original source (federal and state government). PCI / AIO probably tweeks the notices each time to make you read every word before you'll figure out it's a promotion, no requirement to buy from them. Don't get sucked in by these bullies!

Save Time and Money - All Information is Provided - Benefits Out Weigh Concerns

AUTHOR: Employee - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, April 08, 2009

Personnel Concepts has always informed consumers the posters they advertise are available from the government for free. If one chooses, they may read only one side of the mailer received, but it's recommended they read both sides. On the back side of every mailer titled FINAL NOTICE (and several other titles) on the front side, there are nine benefits of the labor law posters Personnel Concepts provides. Below that section a disclaimer is provided:

'AIO Acquistion, Inc. (dba Personnel Concepts) is a non-government compliance firm and a wholly owned subsidiary of AIO Holding Inc.

Our All-On-One compliance systems, Membership Subscription Service, and Space Saver All-On-One posters are copyrighted material. Notices are available free from the government; we do not sell or provide individual government posters....'

The message conveyed by these mailings informs a consumer if they are not posting all of the state, federal, and osha posters, SPECIFIC as to the needs of their business then they can be subject to those fines and lawsuits.

Personnel Concepts offers a product and a service. While most consumers feel they are in compliance with their state's laws and osha requirements several are not. Instead of spending lots of time contacting every agency, and speaking to someone at that agency who is not trained in your company's specific needs, Personnel Concepts provides you this research in a quick, time saving format. In addition, as mandatory changes occur, Personnel Concepts will contact your business year around, whereas government agencies will not. It is the responsibility of the business to be in compliance, and the government will not do your work.

Personnel Concepts does not advertise non-mandatory government compliance changes or requirements. We advertise only mandatory compliance changes or products that offer solutions or tools that will aid a business in meeting compliance needs as written and required in law.

If a consumer wishes not to receive mail or any advertisement from Personnel Concepts they should contact us directly at 800-333-3795, select option 2 and inform a customer service representative
