Before anything this was the letter i was forced to send to the bbb before i got any type of response from the pet store. My puppy did get her teeth pulled out but i will not stop writing about them until they stop selling sick dogs to innocent people. They are scam artist. I have all the proof to prove this and they know i do!!

ON SEPTEMBER 12, 2012 I WENT INTO PET FASHION BY CARLOS TO BROWSE THE DOGS THAT THEY HAD WITH MY SPOUSE AND SON. WE WHERE LOOKING AT YORKIES WHEN WE WHERE APPROACHED BY THE MANAGER MARIBEL SANTOS. WE ASKED PRICES AND WE HELD ONE OF THE YORKIES. SHE PROCEEDED TO TELL US THE PRICE AND TOLD US THAT YORKIES WHERE NOT A GOOD CHOICE BECAUSE OF THE AMOUNT OF BARKING THAT THEY DID. AFTER THAT SHE SHOWED US A MALTESE BY THE NAME OF SOPHIE. MY SON AUTOMATICALLY FELL IN LOVE WITH HER. WE TALKED PRICES AND SHE CAUGHT ME WHEN SHE SAID SHE WAS ONLY $700. WE DIDNT HAVE MUCH KNOWLEDGE WITH THE BREED SO WE ASKED MANY QUESTIONS. AFTER SEEING THE WAY MY SPOUSE AND SON WHERE REACTING WITH THE DOG I KNEW I COULDNT SAY
NO. THE MANAGER MARIBEL WAS VERY KIND AND HELPED US OUT ALOT THAT DAY. I ASKED HER TO SET ME UP WITH EVERYTHING THE DOG NEEDED. SHE TOLD ME THE PUPPY WAS 8 MONTHS OLD AND I ASKED WHY SHE LASTED SO LONG IN THE PET STORE AND SHE TOLD ME THAT IT WASNT A BIG DEAL SOME PEOPLE JUST PERFER DIFFERENT BREED DOGS. WE LEFT THE STORE HAPPY THINKING WE HAD MADE A
GREAT PURCHASE AND WE HAD A NEW MEMBER TO OUR FAMILY. THAT NIGHT I STARTED TO RESEARCH HOW I SHOULD CARE FOR THE DOG AND BUMPED INTO A FEW COMPLAINTS I SAW ONLINE ABOUT BAD EXPERIENCES WITH THE SAME STORE I BROUGHT THE DOG FROM. AT THAT POINT I BECAME DISAPPOINTED BUT I NEVER THOUGHT MARIBEL WOULD CHEAT ME IN ANY WAY. THE NEXT DAY I TALKED TO MY NEIGHBOR WHO IS A LISCENSED VET. HE LOOKED AT THE DOG AND AUTOMATICALLY TOLD ME THE DOG HAD ALLERGIES TO THE FOOD THEY WHERE FEEDING HER BECAUSE SHE WAS BITING HER FEET AND HANDS ANXIOUSLY. HE THEN LOOKED AT HER EARS AND SAW THAT IT HAD NEVER HAD THE EARS CLEANED BECAUSE SHE HAD BLACK DIRTY HAIR HE PROCEEDED TO TAKE OUT THE HAIR BECAUSE HE NEEDED TO SEE IF SHE HAD AN EAR INFECTION. HE DIDNT HAVE ANY TOOLS SO HE TOLD ME FROM
THE LOOK OF IT SHE HAD AN INFECTION BECAUSE THE INSIDES OF THE EAR WHERE VERY RED. AT THIS POINT I WAS GETTING READY TO GO BACK TO THE STORE  WHEN HE SHOWED ME HER MOUTH SHE NEVER LOST HER BABY TEETH. HE TOLD ME  THE ALLERGIES COULD BE FIXED AND ALSO THE EAR INFECTION, BUT THE  PROCEDURE TO TAKE OUT HER TEETH WOULD BE COSTLY $800-$1000!!! I AUTOMATICALLY FREAKED OUT AND WENT TO THE STORE WITH THE DOG AND SPOUSE.
WHEN I GOT TO THE STORE I WAS IRATE AND TALKED TO A OLDER LADY I EXPLAINED THE SITUATION AND SAID I EITHER NEEDED MY MONEY BACK OR FOR THE DOG TO BE CHECKED BY THE VET. SHE CALMLY TOLD ME THAT THERE WHERE NO RETURNS. I ASKED HER WHY SHE SELLS SICK DOGS AND SHE PROCEEDED TO TELL ME "STOP HARASSING ME I AM GOING TO CALL THE POLICE ON YOU". I
AUTOMATICALLY KNEW SHE WAS TRYING TO GET ME OUT THE WAY. I DEMANDED TO SPEAK TO THE STORE OWNER AND SHE WOULD NOT CALL HIM ALL SHE TOLD ME WAS THAT THE VET WAS GOING TO CHECK THE DOG. WHILE THE DOG IS GETTING CHECKED HE IS TALKING TO ANOTHER STORE EMPLOYEE WHO WAS THERE THE DAY PRIOR WHEN MARIBEL SOLD ME THE DOG. I ASKED HIM ABOUT THE ALLERGIES AND HE ASKED HER "WAS THE DOG SCRATCHING BEHIND THE EARS: SHE SAID NO. BUT THE DOG WAS SCRATCHING BEHIND THE EAR DURING THE SALE BUT I THOUGHT NOTHING OF IT. HE LAUGHED AND SAID WELL JUST GIVE HER SOME MEDICINE. WHEN I TOLD HIM ABOUT THE EAR INFECTION HE ALSO LAUGHED AND SAID WELL JUST CLEAN HER EARS SHE WILL BE OK. NEXT HE ASKED HOW OLD THE PUPPY WAS AND SHE SAID 8 MONTHS HE ASKED HER " WHEN DID THEY BUY THE PUPPY" SHE SAID YESTERDAY. HE LOOKED AT HER IMMEDIATELY AND SAID YOU SOLD A DOG AT 8 MONTHS AND SHE HAD NO RESPONSE. I ASKED HIM YOUR NOT SUPPOSE TO SELL PUPPIES AT 8 MONTHS HE JUST CHANGED THE SUPBJECT. AT THIS POINT I FEEL LIKE I HAVE BEEN ROBBED. HE STARTS TO GET THE DOG READY AND I TELL HIM WAIT YOU HAVENT CHECKED HER TEETH HE OPENED HER MOUTH AND SAID OH THOSE
WILL COME OUT NO WORRIES. I TOLD HIM ABOUT THE COST IF THEY DIDNT COME  OUT AND THE 3 EMPLOYEES LAUGHED AND SAID IMPOSSIBLE THIS WILL COST LESS THAN $40. AT THIS POINT I DONT KNOW WHAT TO THINK. I AM JUST HAPPY SHE GOT CHECKED BY THE VET, WHILE IM WALKING AWAY FROM THE VETS OFFICE I SEE A SHORT HISPANIC MAN AND I ASKED HIM IF HE WORKED IN THE STORE AND HE
TOLD ME IM THE OWNER CARLOS. I EXPLAINED MY SITUATION AND HE TOLD ME THAT I HAD HIS WORD IF THE TEETH DIDNT FALL OUT HE WOULD HAVE THEM REMOVED BY HIS VET. I ASKED HIM IF I CAN GET THAT WRITTEN ON PAPER AND HE JUST TOLD ME THAT I HAD HIS WORD. I COME BACK HOME WITH SOPHIE. THAT NIGHT I START TO RESEARCH THE PROBLEM AND SEE THAT THIS IS NO JOKE THE
TEETH NEED TO GET PULLED NOW BEFORE SHE GETS GUM DISEASE OR WORSE. I AM IN SHOCK I GOT LIED TO AGAIN. THE NEXT DAY I CALL THE STORE AND SPEAK TO THE MANAGER AND DECIDE TO JUST GO IN PERSON TO THE STORE. I EXPLAINED EVERY SINGLE THING TO HER AND SHE TOLD ME OH YEA NOW I REMEMBER YOU. SHE ACTED LIKE SHE DIDNT REMEMBER ME THE WHOLE TIME. SHE TOLD ME THAT THE
TEETH WOULD GET PULLED JUST TO PLAY WITH THE BABY TEETH. AT THIS POINT I JUST FEEL SCAMMED BUT IM STARTING TO LOVE THE DOG MORE AND MORE SO I DECIDED TO WAIT AND SEE IF THEY FELL OUT. A FEW DAYS LATER I WAS WALKING HER WHEN ANOTHER MALTESE OWNER WALKED BY WITH HIS DOG AND THE DOGS STARTED PLAYING. AT THIS POINT I REALIZE HOW EXTREME THE SITUATION IS.
MY DOG HASNT EVEN LOST ONE BABY TOOTH SHE HAS OVER 10 BABY TEETH AND OVERBITES. I DECIDED TO DO RESEARCH AND SAW HOW HER TEETH SHOULD BE AT THIS POINT AND NOW IM UPSET BUT I JUST WAIT TILL THE NEXT DAY AND GO IN CALMLY. I RECORDED THE CONVERSATION WHERE SHE TELLS ME EVERYTHING WILL BE OK AND THEY WILL NOW REMOVE THE TEETH. I ASK FOR IT IN WRITING AND AT
THIS POINT SHE IS TRYING TO SEEM LIKE THE BEST PERSON IN THE WORLD.
WHILE SHE IS WRITING THE PAPER WORK I AM LOOKING AT THE DOGS HEALTH PAPERS SHE GAVE ME A PAPER FROM FEB SHE DIDNT EVEN GIVE ME AN UPDATED HEALTH RECORD PAPER SHE DIDNT EVEN HAVE ONE. SHE PROCEEDED TO TELL ME THAT THEY WOULD NOW GIVE ME ONE WHEN SHE GOT OPERATED. I ASK HER WAIT WASNT THE VET SUPPOSED TO SEE HER BEFORE I BROUGHT HER AND MAKE SURE
EVERYTHING WAS GOOD WITH THE DOG SHE SAID YEAH BUT HE WASNT HERE. SHE GAVE ME A RECIEPT TELLING ME SHE WOULD HAVE A UPDATED HEALTH RECORD AND FREE REMOVAL OF THE OVERBITES AND BABY TEETH. A WEEK GOES BY NO CALL I  CALL THE STORE AND AGAIN SHE ACTS LIKE SHE DOESNT REMEMBER ME. THEN  AFTER SHE FINALLY REMEMBERD WHO I WAS SHE TOLD ME THE VET WAS WAITING
FOR HIS TOOLS. NOW THIS WAS ON 9/17/12 AND STILL TILL THIS DATE OCT OCTOBER 8, 2012 THE DOG HAS NOT BEEN OPERATED OR CHECKED. THEY KEEP PUSHING THE DATE SAYING THEY NEED THERE TOOLS. I MADE SURE I GOT THAT LETTER UNDER THE 14 DAY OF EXHCANGE POLICY. ITS BEEN ALMOST A MONTH SINCE I BROUGHT THE DOG AND NOT ONCE HAVE THEY CALLED ME I HAVE ALWAYS
CALLED THEM. I HAVE SPENT MONEY, TIME AND EFFORT. AT THIS POINT I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO. I WAS SCAMMED OUT OF HARD WORKED MONEY AND NOW SIT WITH A PUPPY WHO WILL COST ME GREAT DEAL OF MONEY ON VET BILLS IN THE FUTURE. I HAVE 2 RECORDINGS OF MARIBEL LYING TO ME TIME AFTER TIME. I HAVE HER RECPRDED SAYING THAT THE PET STORE WILL FIX ANY PROBLEMS WITHIN
THE FIRST YEAR THAT OCCUR IF ANY REASON I SAID ANYTHING SHE SAID ANYTHING WHEN I ASKED HER WHERE WAS THERE PAPERWORK STATING THAT SHE SAID THAT IT WAS STORE POLICY. I FEEL THAT THERES MORE TO IT THAN JUST THE TEETH AND I CAN TELL BECAUSE OF THE NEGLEGENCE SHE RECIEVED IN THAT PETSTORE I WILL END UP WITH EXPENSIVE PET BILLS IN THE NEAR FUTURE.
