We would like to submit the following information regarding the Ripoff Report which had been filed :

1. The allegations are fabricated and groundless and, based on the experience other companies had made, an extortion attempt.

2. We had never any relationship or communication with a person with the name Katrell.

3. We are highly professional and experienced business brokers advising and supporting clients, customers and other parties we communicate and cooperate with on the highest ethical level.

4. We are NOT under any investigation by the SEC, FTC, FBI or any other federal or state office, bureau or department.

5. We have reported this extortion attempt to the internet crime unit of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC).

6. It seems that we are the victim of a Reputation Management Company which is believed to have placed the fabricated and false reports about us on Ripoff Reports to extort money from us. Ripoff Reports, itself, is warning about these types of companies which are placing fabricated allegations and are contacting the victim to extort payments for the removal of the ripoff report from search engine results (For more information see Ripoff Report #814169 written by Ed Magedson, founder of Ripoff Reports)

We had been contacted by the reputation management company “improveyourimage.org” immediately after the Ripoff Report had been posted. The company or its website does not provide its corporate name, names of officers or employees, its address or any other indentifyable information and is doing business strictly anonymously and exclusively online, including receiving payments. The company or its fictitious name is not registered with the Department of State which indicates that it is not a legitimate business.

Based on the experience of other companies, improveyourimage.org, including all of its former names and websites, is engaged in extortion.
