Phillip S. Crook PCITY Designs Scamming "web designer" thief, con artist Bristol Rhode Island

This is a Public Service announcement to all persons wanting to hire a web or graphic designer.

I hired this "web designer" in October of 2007, referred to me by a friend, for my business. It is now April of 2008 and still no website. Not only do I have no website, but my phone calls are no longer being answered or returned, nor my messages or emails. I paid him 500 out of the total 700 dollars and I have no website and no contact from him. It began with excuses to elaborate stories to no longer answering his phone. He took every precaution to avoid my attempts in contacting him, even went so far as to blocking my screen name from contacting him via instant message on AOL instant messenger (I found out through signing in under a different name).

I believe he is a con artist, he literally took my money and ran. I am doing all that I can to get my money back in court. It is not fair, I waisted my time, my energy and all my efforts, along with my money in hiring and working with this "web designer". I am posting this so other people won't have to go through it. It is vital to do research on people you hire, even background checks. Also, request and keep all paperwork before agreeing to anything, so incase it needs to go to court, you will be prepared for it.

PCITY Designs is the name of the web designer company, they also do graphic design and commercials. His name is Phillip S. Crook, based out of Bristol, Rhode Island.
