Unbelievable case of price gouging. Blowout on my truck pulling a 5th wheeler resulting in striking median cable creating damage to truck, but none to RV. Cable hung up on step rail of truck, other than that, a winch out and a tow 34 miles to Wilmington.
CHARGE: $3,800. Yes, that is not a typo.
Although not needed, they dispatched medium size truck that did all of the work and heavy duty haz mat truck that did not work and sat on the opposite side of the highway. They saw "insurance claim" pay and went for the deep pockets. They claimed "standard rate"--rate for a mega-truck not needed, requested or used.
