Phoenix Construction & Energy, Phoenix Energy, Lamar Parks, Phoenix Energy and Lamar Parks walked off the job, stole our money, and performed terrible workmanship. Vista California

This is the worst construction company I've ever felt with. Lamar Parks took advantage of our inexperience with home remodels, submitted fraudulent claims for the California Solar Initiative (HERO Program) indicating that Phoenix Energy installed twice as many windows as we had on the house, and we ended up having to contact the CSLB (Contractor Licensing Board) to begin legal process and lodging a complaint. Phoenix Energy and Lamar Parks walked off the job, stole our money, and performed terrible workmanship.

He told us we needed to pay up front to cover various costs and continued to ask for more payments before the job was complete. In good faith we paid him almost $100,000 and due to incomplete work, badly performed construction, etc. we had to pay out over $20,000 more to have the job finished.

The CSLB inspector was amazed by the terrible workmanship and state of the home. They found the investigation in our favor with over $40,000 worth of damages, incomlete work, etc. However, they have refused to reimburse us for the job.
