I bought a piano from the pianosuperstore for my wife 6 months ago while I was fighting in Iraq as a combat medic with an infantry company of the 1st Cav DIV. Since that time, I have returned to the States but have come home to no piano. misleading sales practices are apparent on their website and they have still not refunded the $2300 I payed for the piano 6 months ago.

It is verifiable the Piano Superstore's web site shows the SuzukiGP7 in inventory and not out of stock today and as far back as 6 months ago. See link:
http://www.pianosuperstore.us/

Check "Digital Pianos" Then Baby Grand "Inventory"

I would like to cite Webster's definition of inventory to avoid any confusion: 1 a: an itemized list of current assets: as (1): a catalog of the property of an individual or estate (2): a list of goods on hand.

A labor dispute in China meant that this piano was virtually nonexistant and not in the Piano SuperStore's inventory 6 months ago and it is in no stretch of the imagination in stock today. Though the web site verifiably and clearly states otherwise, placing the GP7 in their inventory and clearly not marking it out of sock as it has other items. Thus This site has made fraudulant claims for at least 6 months

The company gives a good faith estimate of 6-12 weeks delivery time with no guarantee, however this "average" has not been verified and has not been true for the GP7 for over 6 months.

The company has tried to defend blatant, misleading actions with assertions of no guarantees and fine print. But it is clear their "large print" is very misleading and not in the best interest of consumers, not to mention their 6 months of communication cited everything from vacation to customs for the failure to deliver the piano I paid for. I still have not recieved the $2300 I gave to the company over 6 months ago with no piano delivered.

I checked with the BBB and found this company is not in good standing due to multiple unresolved complaints about the company. There are 7 total complaints in the last 12 months. See their BBB file at http://charlotte.bbb.org/WWWRoot/Report.aspx?site=44&bbb=0473&firm=120869

refund

AUTHOR: Zephaerie - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Saturday, April 05, 2008

I agreed I would retract the statements I made here and at the BBB if when the refund should arrive though it was never a condition of my refund. The check arrived on April 3rd 2008 and it cleared today April 5th 2008.

I retract my statements here. I see ripoffreport.com does not remove statements, however I sill do everything in my power to have this particular matter removed!

refund cecks failed to be arrive repeatedly

AUTHOR: Zephaerie - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Sunday, March 30, 2008

John Terrel Wilson has for the past moth or so told me he would mail a refund check in the amount of $2300 everyweek. Every week, the check has faild to arrive just as the piano never arrived. Yesterday I recieved an email from Mr. wilson stating the check was sent off last Thursday. I'm not going to hold my breath as none of his statements or promisses have ever been proven to be true. But I will recant my statements here per my agreement with Mr.wilson once the check actually arives and clears. It has now been 7 months since he took my money. This is absolutely rediculous.

Web site Amended... sort of

AUTHOR: Zephaerie - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, February 29, 2008

I Have been monitoring the piano superstore's web site ever since they failed to deliver my piano. I am happy to report, my complaints here, at the BBB, and to the Federal Trade Commission have resulted in this company doing the right thing and marking the Suzuki GP 7 out of stock at least 7 months after the fact. However I noticed they still mark other suzuki's in stock when I have it on good authority that they do not currently have these either.

It's interesting that the site was only changed after I recieved a response from the Federal Trade Commission acknowledging my report of false advertising. I suppose the FTC can only enforce the false advertising in my complaint as it relates to the GP 7, I did not share with the FTC that the Piano Superstore does not in reality have the other suzuki's on hand either. There is further damning evidence against this company that I have been asked not to repeat without written assurance of confidentiality so I cannot share any further

Terry Wilson has promised me a full refund for the piano I paid for close to 7 months ago now. He told me the check would be mailed today. It remains to bee seen if the check will arrive and clear.

I have promised to retract this complaint when and if his check actually arrives and clears. It was tough going to get this company to do the right thing. But I'm proud to say it's starting to react to the pressure I placed on it after I returned home from war.

If I do not in fact recieve my refund, I will continue on to contact the Judge Advocate General, the State Attorney General's Office, file a small claims case, and contact a local investigative reporter I met after marching in my Iraq home coming parade.

Admission from company of faulse advertising

AUTHOR: Zephaerie - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, February 19, 2008

I was emailed this after I told the Piano superstore and Asaph their website is misleading, however they have not seen it fit to actually fix the "oversite" that duped me as of yet. Note: The Federal Trae Cmmision (the agency that regulates faulse advertising dose not care what the advertisers intentions are only that companies that engage in faulse advertising are liable or that advertising). I have also still not recieved the piano or my $2300 refund after beicoming a victum of their fuase claims.

Rob,

I only handle the logistics for Piano Superstore. I did see the same thing on the Piano Superstore website that does not indicate the piano is out of stock. I feel that is simply an oversight that will be corrected. I will contact the person that manages their website and let him know immediately. As of this past Friday; Feb. 8th, we (WILCOMthe logistics company for Piano Superstore) have not been made aware of a GP-7 being available for pickup for the orders we received from Piano Superstore.

I have forwarded your message to Terry at the Piano Superstore to see if he has any additional information that I may be unaware of.
