My worst ever online shopping experience! I bought some products (glucosamine) in June 2007. I gave my correct address and chose my country from a pull down menu. They charged my credit card after 1 day: 16.77 GBP (Great Britain Pounds) .Then they did nothing and said nothing! They just kept my money and did nothing! I was waiting and waiting and after a month I contacted them. They said they had decided to suspend international deliveries!!!

They asked me if I had a UK address where they could deliver it. Of course not. I wanted a refund. They asked my credit card details. I gave them the details of the credit card I used to buy the products. Not valid, they said. It had expired. Surely, because I always use special credit cards for internet use which expire after one month. And I will always do it exactly because of dishonest merchants like Simply Supplements.

I explain them that the expiration date is only for payments and NOT for refunds. My credit card company was crystal clear about that. Anyway I give them a second credit card they could use (not expired... but for Internet use with limited credit). It's February 2008 and I haven't got the refund. They have my money, I have no products.

We are sorry and also extremely surprised to hear about this situation. However, it is difficult to comment specifically, without further details. Nonetheless, we regret that we are currently unable to deliver internationally, and unfortunately, due to updates on our online ordering system throughout this period, our website did not prevent International orders from being placed. As these orders were placed online, payment was automatically taken upfront.

However, in instances such as this, where the customer does not have a convenient UK delivery address, it is our policy to make a full refund for the items ordered without delay and this case is no exception. Any outstanding refunds, whether it is due to incorrect card details or an expired card for example, are managed via contact with the customer to retrieve correct details in order to ensure that every refund is satisfied. Contact with international customers is achieved via email and does not cease until the matter is resolved. According to our records, all international refunds throughout this period have been resolved and therefore we would politely suggest that this customer contacts us regarding their specific issues if they remain outstanding.

Customer Service is priority at Simply Supplements and as such we endeavour to deal with all our customers in the most efficient and personal manner, and always with utmost integrity; once again, this rare instance is no exception.
