Planet Fitness Gym Planet Fitness are liars and cheats. They have "F" rating in BBB. DO NOT SIGN UP Lantana Florida

My fiance and I just recently sign up to the planet fitness on lantana. when my fiance signed up they let him make a membership without me being. which i think is inappropriate. they reassured that there was no contracts on the month-to-month membership. after a few weeks I upgraded to a black card. the employee hugo didn't tell us that when we signed up for the black card that it automatically put us in a one year contract.
never brought it up. so after a month I decided to stop going. when i went to get the cancellation forms they tried to find out why to keep us there. expected. but when they looked my membership up they didn't have me down as a black card member yet they still had it as a note.means nothing. but they told me that i will have to do a certified letter and pay 100 dollars to cancel. ridiculous. i called my fiance and told him what they had said.
when my fiance called to talk to the manager being one himself. Mark (the manager) told him why didn't you ask him when you upgraded to black card about any contracts. my fiance said because it's hugo's job to state all the facts. Mark was laughing during the phone conversation being a real smartass knowing that he had scammed another person.
I was at the gym at the time when my fiance called and decided to go talk to mark myself. he pretended to be polite and understanding. Real jerk. We expected a manager to deal with the employees that didn't do the right job. things were broken, tanning bed burned me and they claimed i never told them about it(I did), and they're contract and rules are contradicting.
They are a horrible team and they know what they do is wrong. and yet the manager of all people laugh instead of fixing the problem. besides all that they have disrespectful employees. one of them hit on me knowing I had two kids and a fiance by trying to give me his phone number. they are rude, disrespectful,scam artists, liars, and cheats.
they deserve to be shut down. I check up on the better business bureau and they have a F rating. shows right there. i wish i would have known that before i signed up. with the fact that they have complaints all over the US. stay away and do not get caught up losing a lot of money. BEWARE.
