Maybe that's the answer

To keep a Polaroid branded TV working, position a humidifier next to it, blowing mist on it.

Mine hass been great

AUTHOR: ChairmanJW - (USA)

I bought mine from Circuit City in 2006. It was mounted to a wall outside on the covered patio. With the humidity here in Florida I expected a couple years tops. The thing is still going strong.

Sorry for the problems with your TV, but.....

What's the Ripoff?

Won't Polaroid fix it for free when it's at least 2 years out of warranty?

"its about three years old but the problem started 2 years ago."

What did Polaroid say two years ago when you reported the did contact them, right?

BTW, Polaroid is considered a very low end set, bet even so one would expect it to last longer, but not for the manufacturer to fix is well out of warranty.
