i got a 40 inch polaroid tv with problems sound no good got a black line going thew the middle of tv and growing it a foot long now. tryed to talk to the company no help. now iam stuck with a 800.00 dollar paper weight . its about three years old but the problem started 2 years ago. other people need to know about this before they give there money to them for nothing

I bought mine from Circuit City in 2006. It was mounted to a wall outside on the covered patio. With the humidity here in Florida I expected a couple years tops. The thing is still going strong.

What's the Ripoff?
Won't Polaroid fix it for free when it's at least 2 years out of warranty?

What did Polaroid say two years ago when you reported the problem...you did contact them, right?
BTW, Polaroid is considered a very low end set, bet even so one would expect it to last longer, but not for the manufacturer to fix is well out of warranty.
