We brought our Dodge Intrepid to POMOCO - Chrysler Jeep Dodge this summer because the car would not start.

We had it towed to POMOCO and ask them to look at the starter.

A week goes by with no word from POMOCO and they tell us, oh your car needs over $1500.00 in repairs, everything from the battery, the battery wires, the ignition, the starter and other misc things.

We explain to POMOCO that doesnt seem right and we cannot afford to pay that much to get the car fixed right away, the husband is in Iraq and this was an unexpected repair. They assure us that they will make the repairs and let us make payments. We figure GREAT.

Great until... We get a call from THE POLICE DEPARTMENT.

The police officer tells us that he pulled an old lady over who had our LICENSE PLATES ON HER CAR. He says hes known the woman as a local resident for years and knows that she would not have switched the plates, and insinuates that we have stolen her license plates.

We of course tell the officer that OUR PLATES WERE ON OUR CAR WHEN WE DROPPED THE CAR OFF AT POMOCO.

We contact POMOCO who advises us that they have no idea why a police officer would call us about our licenses plates and assures us that our car is still at the dealership.

WE MEET THE POLICE OFFICER DOWN AT POMOCO.

Sure enough... He has our license plates which were no longer on the car.

Come to find out... Somehow our car which was supposed to be locked into secured area of the dealership, managed to lose its plates.

POMOCO tells us they dont know how that happened, but a week later they advise us that one of the women working there has been fired in associatation with the stolen plates. They wont give us any details of what happened but assure us that they have looked into it and handled the problem - and they have left the plates on the seat of our car.

We tell them hey, you need to put the plates back on the car.

We end up paying for the repairs.

We get the car out... and on the way home we notice theres something wrong with the car.

The stereo system is all jacked up as if someone tried to steal it and it wasnt working right. We stop at a friends house on the way home...

AND THEN THE CAR WONT START ALL OVER AGAIN.

We call POMOCO.

POMOCO says... we need to bring it back in. We tell them.. YOURE PAYING FOR THE TOW.

Get the car back to POMOCO. THEY TELL US THAT IT NEEDS A NEW STARTER.

HOW THE HELL DO WE NEED A NEW STARTER IF WE JUST PAID THEM TO PUT ONE IN?

They tell us theyre sorry, and they dont know WHY the starter was never put in.

This really pissed me off. IF YOU NEVER PUT A STARTER IN THE CAR THEN HOW THE HELL DO YOU KNOW THAT EVERYTHING ELSE NEEDED TO BE REPLACED?

Better yet...

We finally get the car back...

And guess what?

WE NOTICE NOW THE KEY WONT FIT IN THE DRIVER DOOR, AND SOMEONE PULLED ALL THE SCREWS OUT OF THE PANELS IN THE INSIDE OF OUR CAR DOORS.

POMOCO promises theyre going to get the screws and fix it, but then they tell us it will take weeks to get the parts.

Meanwhile we cant close our car doors properly... BECAUSE THE PANELS ARE PRACTICALLY FALLING OFF.

The car basically sits at our house for a month. No word from POMOCO.

Pointless.

Then we finally go to drive the car... to find now.. IT HAS A MASSIVE OIL LEAK.

THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG OUR CAR EXCEPT THAT IT NEEDED A STARTER BEFORE WE BROUGHT IT TO POMOCO.

We contact POMOCO.

POMOCO says.. they are not responsible for any of the damages to the car and actually told us they are going to make us PAY for the screws for the doors.

NOW THEY WANT OVER 500 dollars to fix the oil leak.

We told them they are responsible for the damages to our car.
Its very obvious that one of the employees at the dealership was using our car while it was supposed to be in there being repaired and damaged it.
a*****e probably took it joy riding.

And what does POMOCO have to say about it?

We dont know what youre talking about, but if you want us to fix your oil leak...

Thats gonna be over $500.00.

RIP OFF!

POMOCO YOU OWE US MONEY!
YOU SHOULD BE FIXING THIS CAR FOR FREE.. BACK TO THE CONDITION IT WAS BEFORE WE BROUGHT IT INTO YOU. WE WERE FINE TO PAY FOR THE STARTER, THATS ALL WE WANTED IN THE FIRST PLACE.

NOW OUR CAR IS ALL SCREWED UP AND YOU SUCK.

I hate you.
Losers.

I hope everyone reads this and see's what terrible business you do.
Maybe it will teach you to fix your mistakes.

Immediately upon finding the complaint, we contact the customer who was completely unaware of this filing....she was and always has been happy with our repair facality and continues to be one of our current clients. The customer stated that this report was submitted by her cousin and she was going to demand that the cousin remove the submittal as soon as possible. Our company has been in business for almost 70 years and prides itself for our award-winning customer service. This is absolutely not the way we treat our customers.
