We were aproached by a sales person from Power HomeRemodeling Group at Bj's in North Brunswick. We made an appointment and made a contract with them. We called the company because we had some questions and after a bad customer service experience, we decided to cancel the  contract.

We called, sent 2 emails and a fax, requesting the cancelation of the contract. Then, we received a call from the company informing us that we needed to sign some papers to complete the cancellation. They make an appointment at our home and it was set for  6:30pm. At 7:05 a representative of the company showed with the sales person ( that was a gentleman) and for one hour, this representative was refusing to give us the paperwork that we  needed to signed to cancell the contract. I had to call the central office and report him, and even doing that, at the end, they left our house and we were not handed any paperwork to sign.

We took video of the representative accusing us of freaking out of the contract and not keeping our word. We were handed a 3 day cancellation policy that the company didn't want to honor. The representative told us over and over "we do not do cancellations".

 If they do not have the intention to honnor their policies, they should state  that all contracts are final, but if they have to abide by the law, then, they should let the customers execute their right to cancell their agreement withing the appropriate time frame.
