We found PL Productions through eBay. We bought a pair of expensive subwoofers that the seller took forever to ship. When the product finally arrived, it was not exactly as pictured. It did not have wheels, the boxes were scuffed and they rattle when we hooked them up.
We gave Ron another chance. We had a very high end and rare pair of studio speakers, Gauss 3588, that we needed reconed. We sent the speakers to Ron to repair for $340.00 + an extra $50 to professionally ship and insure.
Ron did not ship both speakers back to us at the same time like we shipped to him. He sends back the first speaker using the cheapest shipping option available at USPS and did NOT insure. As a result, someone saw this high value item and stole our product. We filed a case with USPS and they are looking into it. When I called Ron to let him know our product was stolen, he accused me of stealing it and called me the racist "n" word. I had him on speaker phone when he did it and several people heard his racist remarks. He had no reason to speak with me like that.
When Ron sent back to the second speaker he did the same as the first, he did not insure and did the cheapest available shipping option. When the speaker arrived, it was damaged in the box. We believe Ron purposely damaged our speaker.
As a result, we lost a very high end rare pair of speakers which cost us $1500.00 and we lost the $390.00 that we paid him to recone our product. That's $1890 that we lost and we have to buy another pair. This is a total loss for us because Ron did not use the extra $50.00 we gave him to insure our product.

None of these allegations are true. The customer violated E-bay policy by paying through an account that was NOT connected to the user name used to purchase and the customer, also in violation of E-bay policy, asked me to ship his order to an address that was NOT connected to his Paypal purchase account. The customer ASKED ME to change the color of the finish on the cabinets he ordered (he wanted BLACK instead of GREY and I complied with his wishes) Also NO ATTEMPT was ever made by the customer, electronically or otherwise, to address any alleged defects. I had to have custom cartons made to ship his order and that took a little extra time but from ordering time to shipping time was less than TWO WEEKS. In the intervening time (WITHIN THIS TWO WEEK SPAN) I received a phone call from the buyers partner where I was VERBALLY THREATENED WITH A GUN. So... yeah, I called him a bad word after THAT. Even AFTER ALL THAT He did send ANOTHER PAIR OF SPEAKERS to us AFTER he received his ALLEGEDLY DAMAGED pair of cabinets. He shipped his second pair of speakers to me in TOTALLY INSUFFICIENT PACKAGING and, of course, they ARRIVED DAMAGED. He was informed of this and he was sent photographic evidence via e-mail which he received. He asked me to ship them as cheaply as possibly and it was EVERYTHING I COULD DO to convince him that they needed special crates for transport. He finally agreed AND I SHIPPED THEM OUT within two days of each other. HE DID NOT WANT TO PAY EXTRA FOR INSURANCE! As per Post Office records BOTH CRATES WERE DELIVERED WITHOUT incident.
Some days later I started to get angry phone calls threatening me with a gun AGAIN. After that a representative if the buyer CAME IN MY FRONT DOOR and simply said" what can we work out?" I told him it was a legal issue whereupon I WAS THREATENED WITH A GUN AGAIN! I called the police department and this representative LEFT MY OFFICE IN A REAL HURRY. I just received a summons for a court appearance. I have all my documentation in order so I'm not too worried. I've people try to scam me before except this time the buyer may be guilty of FELONY MAIL FRAUD.
