My right side of garage door cable got loose; Precision Garage Repair came in November last month fixed the Right garage door. By 12/29/11 my Left door cable got loose; I called precision again, after secretary set the appt. a man from precision called told me I need new garage door.  Immediately I feel fishing, but too late to stop them, he moved my appt in one hour.

The repairman came over, and he keeping talking and run the meter, and then charged me $385 to fix loose cable on the left  garage door,  and stated that the fixed R side garage has the wheel a little parted, i told him it was fixed by his shop little over a month ago, and i negotiate price to $175.  He was mad like hell, he told us get out of the garage, and all this time he stayed in the garage by himself and will not allow us in the garage.

The garage was dark; I dont know what he is doing.  After he finished the job.  I went out, when I returned around 11:30pm, I can't open the garage, I called the cop, they came around 1:20am midnight opened the garage.  Next morning Friday,  I need go out in the morning, the garage got stuck can't open. I called the Precision filed complaint.  I wait for another hour or so before I can finally got my garage open and went out,

upon my return around 2:30pm, the garage stuck again, the same repairman came by, mad like hell, and told me I need new motor, I said my right side of the garage (two car garage with separate garage doors and separate openers) worked perfectly that is until you mass around my garage doors.  I called his boss, he said you need to pay for new motor replaced, I said you came to fix the left garage door, and mass with my right garage door, it was working, after you mass around, it is not working any more.

He said I only listen to my repairman, that you need new motor, that costs you $400+, I said you can't come in broken my right side of garage which was fixed by your worker last month. And have me paid for the damage done by your worker.  Last month the Precision other repair man told me,  that my right door motor have no problem. I believe this is retaliation,  because I dont believe fix the left door loose cable costs $385.00 as the repair man coded me.

I did not pay them the unreasonable, hijack price fixing left door  loose cable.  The same repairman returned this afternoon,  and he checked my R door motor in one minute, removed the cover and put the cover back, and said you need new motor, and wanted charge me $400+ for a  motor is not broken. And the repairman just left my garage broken non-operable and took off and refused to make my right garage door working upon my repeated requests.

Only stayed in 5 minutes. When I told him that the cop came by opened my garage last midnight, he said why you called the police for?  I told him that police told me that the little button is too greasy and move back and forward, because he spread my WD40 heavily on the Right door motor, and he said why dont you have the police fix your garage?

We visited this homeowner 4 times since November 11th.

On the first appointment she cancelled when the truck was enroute. At least she called. Apparently she said she got the door fixed.

She then rescheduled and asked for another appointment for the 15th as the door was still not working properly. Our technician performed a 25 point safety inspection of the doors. He recommended repairs that she declined, but she did opt for some "patchwork" ($100) to get he door operating. Since the motor and door was older, she was offered no warranty.

She called again Decemeber 29th and the door was malfunctioning. She stated it was a loose "spring".

The new technician told her what needed to be done and she refused. The door opener was also in disrepair, "smoking" while it tried to open the door. Again she opted to not to repair, but to just "get the door" working. She was then charged $175 to rehang the door and put the cables onto the drums.

She would not accept any explanation about "why her door was malfunctioning" and that it needed additional repairs to make it work properly.

She called again on Dec 30th. The operator was failing-actually smoking while it was trying to open the door. The technician said it needed to be replaced but again she refused to accept that the motor was "unrepairable". She called to complain- stating"we just want to sell her a new door". I told her sometimes things cannot be repaired and needs to be replaced; that since I was not there I trusted my technicians recommendations. I also told her doors needed to be ordered and she could shop around.

At that point, however, she was verbally threatening and abusing myself and the technician, and I just wanted to get the technician out of there. The technician insisted he was NEVER anything less than professional with this consumer and I believe him.

Many customers become emotional for a variety of reasons and we work through it to make them a satisfied customer. When a customer verbally abuses, insults, and threatens workers that are trying to  do their job, it is difficult to work through that behavior - especially since the worker knows HE CANNOT solve the problem.
