I received a check in the mail addressed to my father's house, which I have not lived in for over 5 years, for $3.25. The first thing that struck odd to me was that I got a check at that address saying I had a rebate check for a credit card I don't have.

Something seemed off to me, so I immediately got online and searched for the company and found a rip-off report on them. I hadn't planned on cashing or deposting the check anyway, but I wanted to find a contact number so I could call them since I knew I didn't have a credit card.

Good thing I did that Now I know it's a scam!! Please beware. They want your information so they can rip you off!
