I am a victim of the exact same dealership and eventhough I did not spend the amount of time another poster did, because I was really skeptical about them, I had been turned down as well.
I spent less than 1 hour because I have sold cars in the past and knew what questions to ask, so they had to admit that they could not do the loan unless I had a co-signer or between $1,800 to - $3,800.
This is a case of clear misrepresentation, and it should not be tolerated. I will band with you if you like, I am with you all the way. My name is Jennifer Smith please don't hold it against me!!! But they should not be able to get away with this. It is terrible, just be upfront I know my credit is bad so tell me where I can get a car, if you can't help me. So please let me know what to do and I hope that more people come forward, maybe there is something legally we can do about this. I did not see any disclaimer on the TV ad or on any of the paperwork they gave me to sign.
