As I just read from someone who reported Primemax Financing as ripping them off, the exact same thing happened to me. The letter of congratulations, who it was signed by, etc. was identical to mine. My letter was sent to me January 21, 2009. I sent money via Western Union to be picked up by their bonded carrier, Antwan Williams. The next day, Molly Saxton called me to tell me she needed more money because what I sent her was in Canadian funds and not American funds. I told her she did not tell me to send in American funds. Her tone changed (not as nice as she initially was) so I asked her to cancel my file and send me back my money. She said that was fine and it will take between 14 and 30 business days for my money to be sent back. It has now been about 23 business days and I have not seen anything, they have not returned any of my phone calls and now their website is no longer up.

I am desperately trying to get my finances in order and I needed a loan to pay off all my outstanding bills and loans. I was so relieved when I thought Primemax Financing was going to help me. I make good money but because of unforeseen circumstances, I had to sell my house and lost money on that. My kids and I are living in a 2 bedroom apartment with a relative and it is not the best neighborhood. My plan is to pay all my debt off, have one lower monthly payment, save up for a down payment and get a house for my kids and I. What Primemax Financing did to me has put me in the hole even deeper because I had to borrow this money from a friend and now I have to pay the friend back ASAP. I was planning on paying my friend back from the loan I was getting.

It was bad enough worrying and stressing out over my finances, now this has made it even worst. I don't know how people can get away with this and I guess my next step is to report this to the authorities. I know they have to provide ID when picking up money at the Western Union but I guess these people are criminals and probably have fake ID.

I am just as pissed off as all the others and I hope something gets done.
