I selected PRIMETIME SHUTTLE as a pick-up/drop off service to Los Angeles International Airport for my wife and children's overseas trip. I paid $55.80 EACH way by credit card via their website prior to the pick up date. I was also confirmed by PRIMETIME SHUTTLE that the trip would be $55.80 EACH way (both pick-up from my house and pick-up from the airport when they arrived back).

They have a policy of refunding all of the money if the driver is more than 15 minutes late. The driver was more than 15 minutes late on the pickup to the airport. I reminded them of their policy and they agreed to refund me the $55.80 for the drop off fee to the airport.

After 5 days, I did not see the charge back to my account (on line banking) so I called in and asked them why. Cynthia (customer service) told me "It looks as if it 'did not go through, let me try again'.) About 4 days after that I DID get the $55.80 back. I thought that was somewhat unbusinesslike.

Next, the day before my family were to be picked up on their return trip by PRIMETIME SHUTTLE, I noticed that my credit card was billed $58.59, which is $2.79 more than the agreed upon $55.80 for each trip.

I tried to call in for 4 days and only got recorded voice mails. This is one of those companies that you simply cannot get through to. When I finally did get through, I was told by "James" something about a "surcharge" and that is why the amount is different. I politely reminded "James" that PRIMETIME SHUTTLE had confirmed $55.80 each way. He said I would need to talk to his manager, "David" about this. James said he would transfer me to David.

After about one minute on hold, James told me that David was unavailable that I could call back in 45 minutes. I told James that I am DONE calling in to PRIMETIME SHUTTLE and gave him MY number and told him that if I did not hear from his manager DAVID by the end of the business day, I would dispute the $2.79. I don't think that I will be hearing anything from PRIMETIME SHUTTLE today (the deadline that I gave David to respond to me) so I am filing this rip-off report and will simply dispute the $2.79 with my bank.

It's not the money, it is the nerve of a business to not follow through on an agreement. I think that this is very shady and would encourage everyone who reads this report to stay away from PRIMETIME SHITTLE!
