Do not trust this so-called company called Primier Market Research because every bit of it is fake! They will send you a phoney cashier's check for a good chunk of money, but you only get to keep a small percentage of it. I would like people to be aware of these crooks so that they do not fall for these scams and potentially lose thousands of dollars in the long run.

All I had done was clicked on a link to apply for an office assistant job under the employment section of my local newspaper online. I had arrived at pmresearchs.net and filled out a small application that only asked for my name, mailing address, and e-mail address. I assumed the company would send me some information about the job and I could find out if the position was for me or not.

However, when I received this so-called "information packet", I got a fake cashier's check for $998.00 and a 3-page letter about a mystery shopping assignment I must complete. I was told I must cash the check at my bank, keep $100 as my pay, and send the rest to a fake relative in Canada. Well, anyone with common sense would not send a complete stranger almost $1,000!

The funny thing about the 3-page letter I received from this company is that it has a company address in Vermont and also in Australia, but I'm supposed to wire money to a fake relative in Canada. Also, the company name is spelled incorrectly with the word "Primier", and I would think a actual, professional company would at least know how to spell their own company name correctly. Wouldn't they know that these little flaws already make them seem fake?

So what do I plan to do about it? Well, I already filed a complaint to the Federal Trade Commission and the USPS so that they can look further into the situation. I also took the "information packet" to my local police station and they will not do anything about it because they already deal with too many scams.

Overall, don't become the victim of these fake companies that send out phoney checks to innocent people. They only want money and they do not care about you. I will never fall for a scam like this and neither should you!
