On 11-6-12 I purchsed a Sigma 28-300 zoom lens. It did not fit my camera and I returned on 11-14-12. On 11-16-12 David accepted the return from UPS. I have not received a refund on my credit card. In Woody Allen's world they have the lens and my money. This company must be a god mine!

primotronix scam

AUTHOR: Andrea - (United States of America)

POSTED: Wednesday, January 09, 2013

I was scammed by primotronix and lost approximately $400.00.  However, I have been working very hard to stop these people.  I have called the police department in Stamford to find that the business address is there but the company is not.  I called the attorney general in the state and sent information to them.  I filed a police report in my town, and they sent it to the police in Stamford, and I am going to every place on the internet and rating them.  If eveyone did this we may stop them.

primotronix scam

I purchased a canon 7D advertised as $1009.99 with a warranty for $299.99 and miscellanous items.  As of 1-8-13 have have not received my warranty. I have spent 3 months calling sometimes daily to get a refund.  I have been promised by Stephen, Jeffery, Roger, David.... the names go on that my money will be in the bank in 5 working days.  When I call now they put me on hold indefinitely.  The sales people are like used cars salesman when the say, "I'll make you a great deal and and give you a great discount," but you end up paying more than the asking price. I bought $2051.94 worth of merchandise and paid $2199.98.  The salesman, Mickey, actually quoted me a price of over $2400.00 at first.  When I question why the price was so high, he said he was going to give me a great deal of $2199.98.  When I said no he said he could go as low as $1899.98. Unfortunately, I paid, and they took the $2199.98 out of my bank.

When the camera came there was no statement just the packing slip, so I looked up the prices and found I over paid even more. The cost of everything was $2051.94. I tried to send eveything back, but I needed a voucher number.  I e-mailed and called for one and never was able to get one.  By the time I was just going to send it all back I was 2 days over the 30 day limit, and they would not accept the return. It sounds like I am lucky to have all the merchandise.  Yesterday, I called them and I was told I needed to speak to Simon, but he was on another line and would call me.

Today, 1-8-13, I called to talk to Simon, but he was on another line.  I requested to hold and wait for him, but was told I could not be placed on hold.  Ironic,  I've been placed on hold for hours.  Roger, who I have talked to before, was very rude and said I would have to go through him.  I explained it all, again, and was informed he would have Simon"upgrade" to a 5 year warrenty and it would be here in 5 days.  Just a note, all other items purchased are all over priced and I am ashamed of myself for not paying more attentiom.  They are making so much money if they are doing this to everyone.  They must be Stopped!
