I worked for PPT. In the interview I was told that we would have to supply our oun cell phone and computer to do out calls ( in the 15yrs of out bound it service I have never had to supply my own computer etc for a w-2 job) THe 3 of us was told it would be $75/ month that PPT would reimburse and 40 cent a mile with them looking to up it. The day I started was the day the IRS raise the max to .585 / mile

When I submitted my 1st expense report the told me the max that they would pay was $50/month. I had upped my plan so I was playing over half my bill for there call to the main office and to call the customers. When I left the company on the 15 of the month I had submitted the 1st for over $500 in mileage/cell phone / parking/ toner for my personal laser printer that I had to use to print the call.

When I ask about the diffence on the mileage they told a bunch of employees on a conferance call that " there was no law saying the company had to pay mileage" We were also told that we could deduct the diffence on out taxs.
Here is the kicker my wife works for the IRS and she told me that only if you itemized.

Here is deal when I email them . It goes thru but nobody responds or the voice mail boxs are full. I have not heard anything for over 3 months I have been calling. I contact a law firm and they told me that I could sue in small claim court but I would have to file there in GA


I was told by many people when I talked to them " you know your company does not pay there bills". I am not sure what is going on with the local freelancers.

I was told that they losty a major contract ( gateway warranty). They laid off a bunch of help desk people.
