PrizePicks & Venmo - Unauthorized Charge, No Service Delivered

Location: Online Platform Date of Incident: November 12th, 2024

 I was the victim of a fraudulent transaction where I was charged $15 without receiving any service, despite multiple system failures and contradictory support responses.

EXACT SEQUENCE OF EVENTS:

• Attempted to deposit $15 into PrizePicks using Venmo
• Venmo processed the full $15 charge
• PrizePicks APP SHOWED DEPOSIT AS FAILED
• NO SITE CREDIT WAS EVER ADDED TO MY ACCOUNT

CUSTOMER SERVICE NIGHTMARE:

1. PrizePicks Support Claims:

• Told me deposit failed
• Instructed me to contact Venmo
• Admitted no balance was added to my account

1. Venmo Support Response:

• Initially opened dispute
• Suddenly denied dispute
• Claimed PrizePicks confirmed I received funds (FALSE)

FINANCIAL DAMAGE: $15 STOLEN
