Pro Handyman Florida John, owner...Stay away, t his guy is a crook and a total a*s, think his face would break if he smiled...ignorant and mean ft. lauderdale florida

I am another former employee of this company.  I spent a week building a boat dock in Ft. Lauderdale, under John Hughes' company: Pro Services of Florida.  John collected upwards of $5000 for the work, I never saw a penny.  He stopped taking my phones calls, responding to emails and texts.  I am now completely being ignored.

I have decided to file a complaint with the Department of Labor, which I am in the process of doing. I am also filing a small claims lawsuit against John, himself, and I will also be filing a complaint with the city and local authorities, as I am now under the belief that John does not have the proper licensing for the line of work he is in.

It is unfortunate to do, but I will also be contacting his clients and customers and making them aware that the work they have done may not have been done with the proper permitting.  I am truly sorry to those customers who may have to tear-down and replace any work done by John's company, but it is the only way to stop this con artist from claiming more victims.  JOHN HUGHES NEEDS TO BE IN PRISON.

 After taking time, gas expense, time off wokr, etc, I go to the US dept of labour and lodge a complaint. They gave this jerk a call, guess it rattled his chain. He contacts me, says check was mailed etc, but it was all bs. I kept on and on, relentless, finally he has Brad stand me up a full day on friday "after four oclock" when I could get paid, Middle of night Brad texts sasks "where am I?"...anyhow long short again, I meet this foreman Brad in parkinglot several hours late on a saturday and was finally paid less than half what they owed me, and then threatened with cops etc, called a drug addict ...what idiots. Im still gonna trouble them with small claims, Total a*holes the lot STAY AWAY..I called the man whose building I worked on and told him what has happened, he was not surprised at all...these mean are mean. STAY AWAY

I Started to work for him remodelling Sportsauthority Bathroom in Pines blvd and and suspected something was not right, i googled prohandymanflorida scam and i got a hit from the previuos guys that worked there saying that they worked two weeks and did not get paid. I forwardwd the craigslist posting to Brad his foreman and he flagged it for removal say that those guys stole materials. yet to date I am not paid, I went to Pembroke Pines Police dept and lodged a complain after being advised from BSO. I have all my text to and from John and Brad for references. All I want is my salary that was owed.
