On November 2nd 2015 a man contacted our home phone number (phone number he used 718-509-6882 he asked for me (Mindy Petersen) claiming he was an Attorny with Proctor & Gamble Legal Department.

On November 3rd I called the number and asked to Thomas Adams, he claimed that I he had contacted me about a sweepstakes that I won on May 5th 2015 from Proctor & Gamble. He claimed that I won 970,000.00 dollars and that taxes of 18% had been taken out making the prize 650,000.00 He stated the check was being drawn on Bank of America

He gave me a Federal Case PG27302 Pass word MP1497

He told me that he needed to set up delivery of the package with Brinks Services and that I would need to go thru Identity confirmation with the Federal Consumer Agency.

He asked me what the middle initail was on my drivers license

He said he would call me back once he had this all set up-

I had to leave to go to work so I called the number back and he answered stating that he had just had confirmation of when Brinks Services could deliver the package which was set up for Thursday November 5th, 2015

He stated that he would need to call me on Wednesday November 4th to walk me thru rest of the regulations

On November 4th this man called me at 7:06 AM and stated the rest of the process- He said that due to Money Laundering and criminal activities that I had to have a bond thru the United States Government Agency The Federal Consumer Agency and he provided me witht he second phone number for this agency 202-470-5477 and told me to ask for Jason Fox the agent assigned to my case. He then stated there is a fee for the bond of $ 3, 250.00 dollars. I asked him why would I have to put a fee if I had won and he went into it was proceedure to protect Proctor & Gamble. I told him I did not have any money due to being unemployed and that this winning was going to make a huge differnece in our lives. He then stated that maybe Proctor & Gamble could waive part of the fee. He then instructed me to call the Angency.

I waited a couple hours to contact eh second number and irronically Jason Fox answered as the Federal Consummer Agency the background sound sounded like a call center- He then told me that I needed to have a Idenoty Confirmation Bond paid to First American Tax Broaker- I told this man I had no money, he then said that he could see if they could waive the fees if I could answer some questions-

He asked if I was a Veteran

He asked if I was married

He asked if I was a Senior Citizen

He asked if I had any stocks, saving that I could access

I retated NO I have no money I just started back to work- He then stated he was going to see if he could get this waived. He claimed he would call me back- when he did not call me back I called him back and he answered around 10:30 AM Mountain time stating he was waiting on his boss.

I tried both numbers at 1:00 O clock and got no answer at either number.

On Thursday At 1:45 PM I called the Attorney's number expecting this man not to answer and to my suprise he answered

"Proctor & Gamble Legal Department Thomas speaking- I asked him if Brinks Services was going to deliver the package with my winnings and he oh no we could not do this because the Indenity Confirmation Bond had not been paid for by me. He said that it could be set up for a later date next week if I could at least pay 700 dollars of the bond. I told him I would get back with him after talking to my husband.

So let me tell you what this does not ones emotional state- I am a victim who did not warrant this horrible exploitation along with the embarrassment I am feeling thinking I had won. These people need to be brought to justice. I did not loose any money- However these people have my home address!  We have a young daughter and mentally challeged brother who live here who are afraid now.
