Mr. Kocheff advertises with Home Advisor and Angies List. His business address is 14470 Aquilla Rd. Burton, Ohio 44021. This is my experience and opinion of this deceptive business and why someone seeking his services should be concerned or look elsewhere.

I hired Jim Kocheff to apply fertilizer, insecticide and fungicide to my lawn in August of 2020. While Mr. Kocheff was at my home, I questioned him about his products and licensing for which he claimed to be fully licensed and insured for but could not produce those documents as previously asked for when he was hired. Mr. Kocheff seemed to be baffled and agitated by my questions hurriedly tossing his equipment into the back of his truck and left my home without flagging the application areas as required by law.

After several weeks I tried to contact Mr. Kocheff about the problems that still existed with my lawn that he said he could remedy and I had paid for in full. Mr. Kocheff did not respond to email, voicemail, text message, and never appeared to be home. I never saw or heard from Mr. Kocheff again. Since Mr. Kocheff refused to respond, I did some checking with agencies in my county and state.

It has come to my attention by the State of Ohio Department of Agriculture that as of Feb. 3, 2021 Professional Landscaping by Jim Kocheff Inc. is not and never was registered as a business and licensed to apply chemicals such as herbicides, pesticides and fungicides nor was he insured for the same. Mr. Kocheff's business ad claims he has 28 years experience listing all these areas of expertise in landscape construction, yet only offers grass cutting and snow plowing services. Mr. Kocheff has no website, pictures or any proof of any work he has done except little gold stars probably from family and friends for being an excellent lawn boy and may have falsified any affidavits he signed pertaining to insurance and licensing with his advertisers.

Mr. Kocheff has proved himself to be a liar, cheat and a hothead who will b.s. his way into a job. Lawnmowers and snow plows can do a lot of damage and you may find yourself holding the bag as I was If you hire him. This is who you are dealing with!
